Robert Cope MSc BSc(Hons) BA – the founder of Bespoke Speech – started his writing career as a copyeditor and copywriter for a leading London digital media agency and is also published widely in theatre. Robert has put together a small but highly competent team of professional speechwriters to form Bespoke Speech. Robert devoted his career to researching the ancient art of speech writing, from Aristotle’s ‘Golden Triangle of Speech Writing‘ to modern day political speeches and of course traditional after-dinner and wedding speeches.
After many years of intense research in modern communication theory, mastering in the arts of persuasion, argument and presentation, audience focus or the ‘audience-led approach‘ using techniques such as ‘pacing‘ and ‘leading‘, Robert has uncovered why many of today’s so-called speechwriters fail. Failure often comes from the lack of audience-focus, which is the reason behind all the wedding and political speech disasters we see today.
